I´d like to share my personal story with eczema just in case it can help other kids to stop suffering from it.
My nearly two years old todler had been struggling with ezcema nearly since he was born.
I tried every emollient from my GP, many steroids, special suits to sleep, tried to find out patterns and it´s been months of suffering for the kid and for me and my husband.
A few months ago a friend from Spain (we are Spanish living in UK for several years) told us to try a naturopath that had helped someone´s kid. I remember reading the email and don´t giving a shit -sorry-
but, after so desperation we thought why not? and using our summer holiday, last month, we went to Madrid and visit this naturopath.
My son has not ezcema any more. This person told me that the reason of ezcema in not allergic, is because the intestinal flora is not doing well its job, so the solution is giving it the help to work properly.
My son is taking live microorganism, wheatgerm and a mix of natural oils once a day, he has to take it for 3 months but from the first day he started taking it the itching stopped and two days more his skin was cleaned, as it is now. I know, it´s hard to believe.
Everything cost me 148 euros, which includes the treatment for 3 months and the cream. And no treatment will be needed afterwards, that is what I have been told.
When a bit of red appears in his skin I put some cream -all natural ingredientes- and next day he's fine again.
I think people with kids struggling with ezcema may find my words weird, unbelievable and I totally understand it, as I was the most sceptic person to go to visit the naturopath.
But it´s completely true and after months reading threads in mumsnet with mums with the same problem I think the last I can do is to share my experience.
