Firstly I'm aware this is a "how the deck do we know?" type question and I can't do pictures on my iPad (can I?))

DS1 (7) has never had cp (neither has DS2 come to think of it) I've never seen them either ask must have been really young when I had them.
They've been exposed to them loads of times but never got them, they were with a child who's patents are having the same do they/don't they thoughts about them now.

DS was grumpy as hell Tuesday, high temp and glassy eyes, runny nose, sleepy. All fine Wed morning although off his food a bit.
Wed afternoon the spots start appearing. Little clusters if really small spots with tiny blisters on, none of them have got bigger but they spread all up the arms/chest/back/bottom/legs and a few on the face. They're no worse this morning though and don't appear itchy. Could they be cp or not?

My DD had something similar a few months back. I thought it was heat rash to begin with as she had patches on the back of her neck and behind her knees. Then she started gettting them all over her arms, legs and torso and they looked like little blisters. I took her into Boots for them to assess - they thought it was CP but it turned out not to be in the end.

The spots which looked like they had little blisters didn't get bigger, burst or scab, so it definitely wasn't. I did take her to the GP in the end and he said it could be a viral rash, or excema (caused by dry skin). I think he didn't really know tbh. Anyway after about a week they they just eventually went of their own accord.

Could you pop into a chemist with her to get them checked? I called ahead to make sure it was OK to come in and that there were no pregnant workers etc.
