My almost 2 year old has had a runny nose for a week and had a high temperature/cranky day on Thursday. Temp came down with calpol and he seemed absolutely fine all weekend. Today he's woken up cranky and exhausted, won't stop crying (cranky cry notpain cry) and has slept most of the morning. Temp is 37.7. I'm taking him to the GP this afternoon but she is a bit useless (rushed/not terribly diligent) any suggestions as to what I should ask her to check for?? He's not speaking clearly enough to let me know if he has specific pain. Worried this is more than a cold..
