Speckly rash...

DD aged 11.

Speckly rash on legs and torso.

Fades under pressure.

Kind of looks like heat rash but completely flat and smooth. Not itchy tho and weather has cooled right down.

Was planning on going swimming, which we still can if it is just heat rash...any other suggestions I should be googling.

Does she feel ok? My young DD often gets a rash like this when she has a temp. It has been checked out a few times and each time we're told it is a viral rash.

Yeah she feels fine.

It is widespread on her body, (torso, thighs, ankles and I think the bits inbetween it is still there just fainter a which makes me think it isn't heat rash - wouldn't expect that on her ankles.

I think it probably is just a non-specific viral rash. She has had all of her jabs so don't think it is anything sinister but have avoided swimming.

Look up slapped cheek. My children have all had this, and the rash looks quite awful, worse on parts that are exposed to sun or get hot.

Nope. It's worse on her torso, none on her face that I can see. Isn't particularly bright. It's just there.

Tbh, it is faint enough that if we went swimming it probably wouldn't have been noticed.

It's not chicken pox.
The distribution is similar to scarlet fever bit no-where near as bright and angry looking.

She does have a mild fever now but I think its likely to be a non-specific virus.
