Eczema and Mollescum Contagium

My 10 year old DD has eczema and last Thursday she was bit by a mosquito and ended up with a couple of infected bites. This wasn't a problem - quick trip to GP's for antibiotics and problem solved. This week, I noticed lots of little blister like spots on her wrist, knees and stomach. They are very red and sore looking and very noticeable. We went to the GP's again and initially he was quite puzzled and then decided it mollescum contagium. Since then (this was Tuesday) lots more have appeared and I have googled it and I'm not convinced this is what it is.

Has anyone had anything similar or any ideas.

doesnt sound like molluscum to me. They look more like skin tags/warts. They dont normally appear suddenly like that either.

Doesn't sound like that to me either. They tend to come on more slowly but can have links to eczema. They're not sore at first either just skin coloured then can get sore as they grow.

no mollescum appears over wks not days. And looks like warts with big pussy centers.

We've got an appointment booked for Tuesday. I think it might be eczema herpeticum. I have looked at some pictures and although her spots are not so scary looking they look similar.

Dd2 has mollescum in the same places as her eczema. She only has one spot on each patch. I'm not sure if she spreads it by scratching. I'm at a loss really, the eczema and molluscum arrived at the same time. You have my sympathy, but nothing useful to add!
