Toddler ECG

My almost 3 year old is having an ECG tomorrow. We couldn't get one last year as she just screamed and wriggled too much. She is much more reasonable now so it should be okay I think. Any tips for helping it go smoothly? Thanks.

My ds2 had one just a couple of months older but he had to be asleep. As it was a post-lunch apptmt, we had to keep him awake so he wouldn't nap in the morning and then not be sleepy. So the hardest thing was making him walk in the rain rather than fall asleep in buggy. He slept so deeply for the ECG that he wet himself, which we hadn't thought about at all, so he was quite upset on waking. I guess standard advice holds on having enough for her to eat/drink/play with in case the clinic is running late.
Best of luck.

Thanks. I'll have newborn DS with me too (and my mum to help) so it may be a bit stressful. DD quite excited about it now though!
