my daughter is 10 and on a recent family holiday, mentioned that she only does one solid poo a week, the rest ranging from a bit sloppy to full on diarrhoea. She's healthy in all other respects but I'm sure this can't be right. Reluctant to go to GP as I'm not sure they'd be able to help much - any suggestions...?

Try a hypnotherapist with specialist knowledge of children. NICE guidelines recommend this form of therapy for refractory IBS.
