Brolene eye drops

My 7 yr old dd has a bit of creamy yellowish discharge and the pharmacist prescribed her brolene propamidine isetionate 0.1%. She said to use it for five days. Anyone used this eye drop before and is this how long you usually use it for? Thanks for your help.

Yes, my DD has used this a couple of times. I think that the idea is that you use it forthe full 5 days if it seems to be helping after a day or two (to make sure the infection is totally cleared) but if it wasn't clearing after a couple of days I'd be inclined to go to the GP. Does that make sense?

Thanks for the quick reply, Grimma. Just making sure, it was the propamidine drops that you used and not the antibiotic ones?

Yes, not the actual antibiotic ones (the pharmacist said those had to be kept in a fridge and we were on holiday)

Thanks Grimma.
