Diarrhea - teething???

DS 6 months has had diarrhea since yesterday. At first I thought maybe due to weaning had banana and butternut squash sun/mon or maybe teething.

If your lo had diarrhea associated with teething how frequently were they going? He seems to be doing lots of small squitty nappies (sorry TMI) and I am now wondering if it's a bug. He is drinking milk fine no solids today and seems to be weeing fine. Lots and lots of chewing and dribbling and frustration when things won't go in his mouth!

Anyone any experience of diarrhea with teething?

TIA

I believe this is quite common. My friend has just been through it with her 7mo. Important thing is to keep the fluids up, that's what her doctor told her. Sometimes he was going 8 times a day though!

It lasted almost a week with her DS but as he wasn't refusing fluids it was ok. He now has 2 bottom teeth!
