Not really a health issue per se, but... my 8yo has spotty skin on her face

It doesn't look like acne, but there are raised bumps on her forehead, nose and cheeks. They are small and not very read. They either appear and stay put, or she has a regular turnover of new ones, I'm not really sure which tbh.

She is otherwise healthy, eats well, is clean (well she starts the day clean).

They aren't sore or itchy.

She's had them for a few months now.

She washes her face with water and a flannel, with the odd wipe, as soap dries out her skin.

Any ideas? Is there anything I can do? I don't want to slather her in zit cream while she's still so young, when it may not be acne/bog standard zits anyway.

She's asked to go to the doctor, and I'm starting to be inclined to take her as it's bothering her now whereas it wasn't before, poor kid.

Thanks

They are small and not very red. They do not form sentences although that would be cool

Sounds a bit like millia. My DD has some on her cheeks that look just like the ones on the man's eyelid on the wiki entry. They seem to be permanent, but are slight enough to not be a problem. I have read that it can sometimes be a sign of allergies, but I don't know if there is anything to back up that claim.

Oh fab, just had a quick google image and that's what it looks like. I'll have a read up on what to do about them. Thanks :)
