Advice about spilt hot drink

Stupidly drinking coffee whilst breastfeeding. Spilt small amount maybe four to six drops on baby leg. He cried for a split second and I wiped away immediately then ran under cold water and used compress.
He seemed fine and was not at all upset but have been reading horror stories about infections etc on net tonight and now panicking. There is no blistering or any sign of scald. He has peeling skin since birth but does not look worse. Dh and I now wondering should we take to gp anyway just in case we have missed something? Think i will be up all night worrying now.

If there's no mark on his skin I reckon it'll be fine Smile

If there's no mark I think he'll be fine and infections occur because there's a break in the skin.

Stop worrying.

Agree that if there's no blisterimg you don't need to worry. You've dealt with it appropriately, please don't worry.
