Croup/hoarseness - GP visit?

DD2 (10 months) has had a croupy cough for the past 2 nights. It's not too bad and as she is still bf, she is feeding a lot overnight which seems to help. But she is very hoarse during the day too, although it doesn't seem to bother her much.

I've never experienced the hoarseness before (DD1 certainly had croup before but was never hoarse with it).

Should we just ride it out, or is it worth getting her checked by the GP now/if it hasn't cleared in a day or so?

I would get her checked if it seems to bother her or goes on for more than a few days. Otherwise I would just make sure she drinks plenty.
