Panicking about moles... please help....

Hi everyone

I'm in a bit of a panic, would really appreciate any wise words.

A couple of days ago I noticed some brown spots on the side of my 4yr old DS's calf. I thought it was chocolate so ignored it!

Today I spotted it again, tried to wipe it off and realised it's not chocolate.... but 3 brand new moles that he's never had before. Now that wouldn't worry me too much, except that they are a weird shape - one looks almost like a spider's web with lines coming out of it. They're not big, but just very strange looking.

My husband is away and I've got myself into a total panic by googling 'moles' and reading online about moles with 'fingers of cancer spreading out of them'. The lines coming out of the mole are very thin, but also very strange. I have booked an appointment with a doctor, but in the meantime, can anyone give me any insight on this now?

Thanks so much....

SPIDER TELANGECTASIAS [burst blood vessel] are small benign vascular
lesions that disappear when pressure is applied. They often have central slightly
raised round area with thin red lines radiating from it [like a spider!].vast majority of cases, achieve excellent results in 1 or 2 treatments.

piture Could it be this? It looks as you describe?
