DD 2.8 years had fever last weekend and developed a nasty cough. nothing brought fever down so went to docs monday and was told 'mmmm' no sign of chest infection but glands were slightly up in her neck. given antibiotics and told to get them if she had another bad night (hardly slept sunday night). monday night was also bad and temp still very up and down! so got antibiotics tusday but shes still coughing, temp going up and down and not eating much - today has had three lollies thats all (drinking ok ish). so should i have seen marked improvement (she is a bit better but not enough really) and should i take her back to docs in the mroning? or if not responding to anibitoics is it just a virus and time will help. she was exposed slightly to chickenpox last week so was wondering about this but - i just dont know!
