DS (3.9) has Chicken Pox, what can we do?

DS (3.9) has Chicken Pox. Apart from spots and the tail end of a cold he is fine. Full of bouncing beans and is his normal high octane self. Obviously he can't go to nursery ( usually Wed-Fri) or anywhere with lots of children around, but can I take him out anywhere? We will both go nuts if we stay in all week, and he needs Labrador quantities of running around. CP does not seem to have dampened this. I was thinking of taking him to a country park - big open space, ni playground - we could very easily manage not to come into contact with anyone else for a couple of hours. Also - is it inevitable that DD (8 months) will get it too?

DD will probably get it, but I can't think of a better time.

Country park sounds fine, but do stay away from people- it can be fatal.

Good Luck, is the weather ok where you are? At least you're not trapped in with DVDs!
