How do I get dd2 to take penicillinv?

Dd2 has tonsillitis, doc gave pencillin v for her today. She has to have in tablet form ( chrushed) as she won't take liquid. It says to take either on an empty tum or a 1/2 hr to hr before food!

Now I have to put tablet in something and how do I do that if she is not suppose to eat?? She is 3

Surely it wouldn't hurt to mix it with a spoonful of yoghurt?

I am hoping not but then I wonder if she has to wait to eat for an hour then? She hasn't got a great appetite at the mo but is thankfully still eating breakfast and lunch will be the issue
