Thats it really, she's 14 months and is usually very cheerful, eats well and has a 1.5 hour nap around 1 o'clock but for the last few days shes had her normal 12 hours at night then been more asleep then awake during the day and when she's awake she's grumpy, whiney and doesn't want to play, won't eat half as much as normal and only takes a third of the milk she normally does
There's no sign of teeth and none of her normal teething symptoms like nappy rash and red cheeks (nappy rash is a sure sign, she never gets It normaly but it appears overnight so bad that it bleeds until the day the tooth cuts and it's been the same for every tooth)

I know it's probably teething but it's the sleeping that's worrying me really, she's always been a good sleeper but this is something else! She's asleep on me right now after getting up at 8.45 and has been asleep since about 9.15!

My DD used to do this, when she was poorly she would sleep for a lot longer than normal. Just keep an eye on her and make sure that you can wake her even if she goes back to sleep more or less straight away.
Sleep is a great healer.

My DD2 is the same age & has been of a similar disposition last few days. I thought it was due to her getting 5 teeth at once, however she is this afternoon breaking out in chicken pox!

Thankyou both :) the doctor said she has a virus and needs to be given jelly and icecream!

hip I was worried about chicken pox, hope your dd is better soon!

Can I have that Doctor? I quite fancy a few days of endless sleeping broken up with the odd helping of jelly and icecream!
Hope she's better soon. Smile
