chickenpox?

DTD1 has a scabby rash over her torso, backs of knees and arms. She has eczema but this doesn't look like a normal flare up. Could it be chickenpox? She was super clingy for a few days but not ill in herself and not itching?

DTD2 has a few spots on her face - she doesn't have eczema which is making me think maybe chickenpox?

Have a dr appt later on but any ideas before then?

Before you go to the docs make sure and call ahead and ask them to put you in a separate room, this is v important.

Chickenpox is very distinctive once it gets going. Small blistery filled spots.

Eastend, have been to docs already and apparently infected eczema. When I got there there was clearly a midwife clinic running, lots of pg people. I told receptionist thought it might be chickenpox could I wait somewhere else. She said it would be fine!! I waited in a side bit. Makes you wonder.

Silverangel same happened to us a few weeks ago.. My ds def did have chicken pox and we had to take him to out of hours for infection which was in the hospital, asked where we should wait and were told same place as everybody else it's a hospital people are going to be infectious!! This is what they said!! We found quieter corner but short from taking him out in the torrential rain wasn't much we could do. Strange...!
