I know she does it because she is uncomfortable but I'm pretty sure she hasn't got uti as it doesn't hurt when she goes to the loo. We put some sudacream/vaseline on it and it helps to a certain extent. Shall I take her to the gp ?

Take her to gp, could be thrush, irritation or uti. Or it might just be a habit...How old is she?

It could be thrush, try Canesten cream. check her for worms too.
