Dd was exposed to chicken pox on 30th may. Is there still a chance she could come out with it?

Possible but unlikely. Do you actually want to dodge it? It's a good idea to get it out of the way, it's nasty as an adult.

not quite out of the woods yet as the incubation period is 10-21 days

AdventuresWithVoles · 17/06/2012 12:57

Quite likely, ime! How exposed was she? DC have played with other kids with active spots, or the day before DC themselves came out in spots & yet no transmission.

Catsmamma · 17/06/2012 12:59

ds1 stuck it out for an extra week, I thought he'd dodged it. DD had it first, then ds2 the ds1. Both the boys had it quite lightly though.

Child she played with on the Wednesday came out in spots on the Saturday.

The child wouldn't have been infectious. Only infectious to others 1-2 days before spots come out so at earliest infectious on the Thursday

Up to 21 days is possible
