12yo DS needing a wee too often?

My mum noticed that DS was going to the loo a lot when we went to visit this week. Since she mentioned it, I've now noticed it as well. We've been watching the football on TV today and he went 3 times during the 90 minutes but from what I heard (!) there wasn't much each time. I don't think he's rushing it so he can get back to the football! Is it normal to just go 'a bit'? No bedwetting, no pain. He's not drinking more than usual. It's probably nothing, but any thoughts? Thanks!

GP. Three times in 90 minutes is a lot. It may be nothing - (excitement at the match?) but it could be worth getting it checked, if only to check that he isn't developing a UTI. Your GP will want to do a test to rule out diabetes - as weeing a lot is a sign of that, although I believe you drink a lot too with that.

Best of luck.
