Breast buds?

My (just) 8 year old has a small pea size lump under One nipple. Could this be the beginning of breast buds? Or should I worry?

My 7 year old DS got something similar and I took him to the GP. GP shrugged and said nothing to worry about, come back in 4 weeks if it's still there or changes. All went away by the end of 4 weeks.

I guess what I'm saying is, don't worry, get a GP to look at it. DSs and DDs aren't the same.

It's probably nothing and a quick visit will stop you losing sleep. Oh, and resist the temptation to check more than once a week except by sight, she won't like it and it'll make it sore!
