Anyone got any advice about getting a sample from a four year old?

I'm seriously struggling to get my 4yo DD to produce a wee sample. She's got a possible UTI and has started ABs, but GP wants a juice sample to test.

I've tried the rear approach, the front approach, the discreet sneak up and the chocolate bribery. Absolutely no joy. She just shuts up shop.

Anyone out there got any new ideas?

With mine, I washed out the potty carefully and let them go in the potty and transferred it.

Put a bowl in the bottom of the loo and leave it there. Then pray she doesn't do a poo at the same timeGrin

We have disposable cardboard bowls at work that are used for vomit but they work as well down the loo. Any bowl you aren't that attached to should work though.

Just ask her not to put toilet paper in afterward.
