DS2 has a rash. What could it be?

DS2 is 3 and has a small rash. He has a little at the bottom of his neck/top of his back and a small patch on his tummy. It is like little red dots.

I have done the glass test and it disappears. He is absolutely fine, eating and drinking as normal. He is behaving normally and is as happy as Larry. He's just gone up to bed and I can hear him talking to DS1.

Could it be a heat rash type thing?

I am waiting for nhs to ring

DS has exactly the same thing - small red dots sprinkled across top of shoulders. Will be watching with interest Smile

This post for a possible reason, of course, not his spots!

My dd has the exact same thing.

If a few have it then it's a bit less worrying.

Sounds like heat rash to me. DS is covered in it at the moment!Smile

Another lurker - ds 13 weeks - has exactly the same here too. Small red dots on his back and chest and aside from being overtired and narky in the heat, much his usual self. Hoping heat rash too as we noticed it yesterday and seemed better this am but back pm...

NHS says it most likely a heat rash. As he is fine and has no symptoms of anything else.

She did say to take him to pharmiscist(sp) tomorrow if it is still there.
