Hi

My daughter (nearly five) has got red spots on her face, mainly on her cheeks and around her mouth, she has a nasty crack in the corner of her mouth which is crusty yellow and has been there about five days and isn't healing?

This morning I notice a mild rash around her torso, bottom and legs. Tonight there are quite a few red spots with a yellow head on them, only a small head though?

She doesn't appear unwell, but feels quite clammy and has lost her appetite?

She had chicken pox when she was three, but an extremely mild dose, she probably only had 20 spots in total. So could she have the pox again, or is it something else?

This all seems to coincide with her fall flat on her face two weeks ago, where she smashed her mouth on floor and fractured her teeth? Could this be linked?

Thanks

Could be chickenpox again, but that is rare and I think with pox the spots usually start on the trunk.

I think you should take her to the GP - something about the yellow crust is making me think impetigo.
