DS has been complaining of a "stitch" in his lower left abdomen int he evenings on and off for last 2 weeks, his poo is dense - sinks in the loo and breaks up. He also has a sore anal area and spots on his buttocks and face. I am wondering if this is a dietary matter. He is mildly egg intolerant, can eat egg in cake etc but if eats homemade ice cream or custrad for example gets eczema. When he was a baby when I was transfering him from bf to bottle he was intolerant of a number of formula. Anyone got any ideas

Have you tried the actobifidus something yoghurty drinks? My DD aged 9 mo to school, had fresh cows milk & dairy intolerance, yellow poo etc, so we kept her on formula milk way even on her cereal until she was 4. She suffered all sorts of allergic reactions if she ate more than half pot of normal yoghurt or any dairy milk etc. GP advised us to give her (ironically) yakult or similiar, to reset bacteria in her tummy and each time it worked a treat. Gotta be worth a try.
