Nappy Rash/Thrush

DD looks to have a thrushy nappy rash. She's had them before but this is particularly nasty, presumably because of the hot weather.

Previously we've treated with Daktarin and Canestan but I wondered if anyone else had any hints or tips for dealing with it? She was so sad in the bath today because she was sore, and she loves a bath!

As much time as possible with her nappy off will help because thrush needs a warm moist atmosphere to grow.

I used to put DD1 in terry nappies with no waterproof cover so I could change it and wash her skin as soon as she did a wee. It helped enormously but made for hard work and lots of washing.

Thank you. Unfortunately she's at nursery full time so it's difficult to get a prolonged period of nappy off time. I've asked them to change her frequently today so make she's not sitting in a damp nappy.
