Poorly 6 month old

My 6 month old has suffered from a runny nose, cough, temperatures, tummy upsets etc since he was born. I am getting nowhere with the GP who keeps saying he has yet another virus. They still won't refer me to a paediatrician as he is on the 75th percentile for weight. A month ago he was on the 98th percentile so he has significantly dropped but is still at a healthy weight. The only time he will take any milk is when he is half asleep. I think he might have an allergy. Does anyone know a paediatrician who works privately in the Oxford area? Can anyone help? Thanks. Worried Mum of two.

I don't have any advice but dd (now 20m) was exactly the same - I had to feed her asleep because of reflux - have you considered that he may have that? Worth asking GP for gaviscon? Remember reflux can be silent (no sickness).

If you have an older child the little one is also more likely to catch things imo. I know dd caught everything and anything from ds alond with all her own bugs too!

Thanks for this. Yes, my older one suffered from reflux so we have tried gaviscon but that made no difference. Maybe it is that he is just catching everything and anything and I need to hang in there!
