My 8yr old ds feel off his scooter yesterday and banged his head , he was wearing a helmet but has a small bump and red marks . He has still got a headache .

No nausea , no loss of consiousness at time , slept well and ate as normal last night and this morning .

He really wants to go to school , I don't know what to do . I think because there are no other symptoms that a trip to the hospital or gp isn't needed .

What do you think ?

Id send him, but just mention it to the teacher and ask them to keep an eye on him.

Are his pupils dilated? If not then I'd send him to school.

His pupils are fine , I was testing them last night and woke him up when I went to bed to do it again .

Thank you , I will put a note in his bag and send him in , I am not working so I am around if needed .

Change of plan , We walked up to school but once we were there I changed my mind Blush

He just looked a bit miserable and I had a wobble . We have got a gp appt for 12 and I think I will feel a lot happier knowing someone has had a look at him . He has spent the morning writing a story to take into school tomorrow , and being a lot quieter than usual so I know he doesn't feel quite right .
