Hi there,
This is always my first port of call for help and advise with my daughter, it would be great to here back from anyone who has experienced a similar thing and found a solution?
My 2.5 year old is extremly pale and blonde, I apply factor 50 in the sun, the doctor has said that she has an allergy to heat, so the creams make her sweat and bring her out in hives. does anyone know any very light sun creams or have any other advise please?

My eldest DS suffers quite badly from heat rash. I don't know about light sun creams, I'm not sure such a thing exists for children, but I give him piriton to help with the hives.

A cool bath in the evening seems to help too.

A barrier (mineral) sunscreen, such as Badger is better, I hsve found, in preventing rashes and irritation in the sun.
