chicken pox :(

any suggestions on how to soothe the itch of chicken pox on a 19 mnth old, the majority of which are in her hair and on her face :( i'm giving her piriton as thats what the doc gave to help with the itch but not helping!

aqueous calamine cream, bicarbonate of soda or oats in the bath can help. There are a couple of products designed to help e.g. poxclin, virasoothe, but they are more expensive

Can't remember if she can already have piriton, but if so, I would also give piriton especially before going to bed.
