Dsd aged 10 fainted last night after her bath and deciding to wear winter jammies she came round after secs but couldnt mind fainting and her eyes stayed open and unseeing, if that makes sense?

Today she lost bladder control at school, i found the wet clothes in her school bag when i picked her up she was wearing her pe kit for after school club.

She wont tell me the reasons she didnt know could it be linked to the faint as at the time put it down to overheating

There is no chance she has a uti is there?

It isn't the same thing at all but my father is in hospital at the moment because he collapsed and had been suffering from loss of bladder control for a little while before that. They are very different in age though so it might not be the same thing.

Having said that, DS2 who is 8 mentioned a girl in his class wet herself and then was off a few days later with a uti so maybe there might be something in it.

Does she have a temperature? It might be worth having a word with the doctors.

Did she faint again at school? Loss of bladder control is quite common whilst fainting.

Hiya

No she fainted last night at home, we had put that down to overheating but the bladder control loss was today, she did it at the bathroom as didnt make it all the way in time so her bladder control is weakened no temp but never thought of UTI, will get her to doctors next week

Luckily no1 at school knows as she took the knickers off and hid them in her pe bag (nice for me!) so no name calling gonna happen phew
