Not drinking enough fluids cause a mild fever?

Just wondering as my DD is very poor at drinking, I am constantly following her around with a cup. Woke this morning with a mild fever 37.8. Could this be caused by not drinking enough fluids with a the added heat of the last few days? Sitting on sofa really pushing the fluids and seems fairly perky.

No, not drinking won't cause a fever but it is really important to drink more when it is hot and if they have a bit of fever too, so keep going with the drinks, plus ice lollies and watery fruits like melon are good too.
