Eczema - best cream?

What's the best OTC cream for eczema (for kids)? Thx v much.

me too. Is Diprobase over the counter?

Aveeno without a doubt.

Diprobase is OK, but we found double base better.

Why over the counter though? They can be expensive.

Thx, which aveeno? I have some body moisturiser or is it an eczema specific product? I want OTC as I want to get tomorrow and it's for a very smallish patch. Thx again.

I've had a look and it just says aveeno cream with 'natural colloidal oatmeal'.

Iirc it's about four quid a tube from boots.

Aripro mousse cleared up my son's severe eczema totally, we had tried all the other creams; steroids, diprobase, hydromol etc.. (Used to be called the eczema mousse/proderm)

Another vote for Aveeno - any of the ones that have 'natural colloidal oatmeal' and don't have hydrocortisone (not that you can buy those over the counter in the UK, but you can in the US, I discovered, when DH came back with the wrong stuff...)

Once you find the one that works for you (and it seems to be different for everyone), do get it prescribed, though, or it will cost a fortune.

I found Oilatum really good for DS1's eczema

We use Double Base and don't find it that good. Can you get Aveeno from the supermarket? If so, will give it a go.
