Nightime leg pains

Hi Everyone newbie mumsnet member here. Has anyone else had experience with leg pains at night. 4 year old daughter screams in pain for hours saying her knee and shin hurt on 1 leg, her brother and sister have had the same. When I was a kid they were called 'Growing pains'. Nothing is helping...

My son had this and he turned out to be hypermobile. quite common and just means they are extra flexible which causes pain at rest. He has inserts in his shoes to help.

Yep one of my kids gets this, not much you can do as far as I'm aware. We make him do some heel-pushing exercises when it happens just to make sure it's not regular calf cram, give him Calpol, remind him to do a wee and cuddle him til he falls asleep/tells us to go away.
