she has, high temp, stomach pain, dizzinness, sore blood shot eyes, headache. NHS direct will not let me choose enough symptons at once and is asking really silly questions, she does not have any meningitus symptons or anything like that and is pretty much ok in herself. what ddo you erkon?

How old is she?

PestoPenguin · 20/05/2012 19:29

Is this the online symptom checker you're using? Have you tried ringing 0845 46 47?

How old is she?

I do hope she starts to feel better soon.

MadreInglese · 20/05/2012 19:29

can't you phone them?

the diagnostic thingy on their website is a bit crap

ditavonteesed · 20/05/2012 19:31

she is 8.5, she is fine in herself and gone to sleep now anyway, if I phone them they always make me take her to A&E, she is not that ill and is defiantly better in bed I think.

Erm, sore eyes/headache can be symptoms of meningitis.

I had them when I had meningitis.

You should ring them ASAP.

ditavonteesed · 20/05/2012 19:33

she can touch chin to chest and can look at lights. no rashes and temp not that high (I check very carefully nearly lost my best mate at uni to meningitus)

If your worried contact OOH

Gincognito · 20/05/2012 19:38

Ok, just wanted to be clear.

I would still call.

ditavonteesed · 20/05/2012 20:07

gin, I completly understand if you have had something that scary it is probably usually the first thing that comes to mind. I will keep checking her temp through the night but I am sure she is fine. It is just such a weird combination of symptons probably some horrible virus.

Measles?

Gincognito · 20/05/2012 22:18

Hope your dd gets a better night, Dita.

RationalBrain · 21/05/2012 14:13

Rubella? Dd2 had this with similar symptoms before the rash came out.
