Hi
I dont know if my daughter (18 months) swallowed some or not. she had some on her hands as her cup was slippery. She went to sleep soon after and seems ok. Have tried NHS direct but on hold and wont ring back for four hours.

It's just paraffin isn't it? Not an ideal part of toddler diet but unlikely to be toxic I would think. My DS (same age) has eaten metanium more than once, bad mother and he's fine. I'm sure she'll be ok.

She will be fine.

Although I don't know why Stiefel don't post proper toxicology datasheets on their website. grrr

Sirzy · 18/05/2012 20:52

If it was just a small amount that was on her hands I wouldn't worry at all.

Thanks all
I ended up ringing our local out of hours docs. They said the worst that would happen is she would be sick and then they would advise fluids. But it was three hours ago so probably would have happened by now x
