Cradle cap

Minor ailment I know, but a quick question on cradle cap for my 10 week old DS.

I've even using dentinox to try and clear up his cradle cap but I don't bath him every day. Do you think it would clear up quicker if I bathed him every day (or at least washed his head with the dentinox) or would the extra baths makes it worse / slow down the clearing up?

Thanks :)

Have you tried olive oil? Rubbing in a bit every night did wonders for DS's

I know it's not the correct advice, but it worked for me without adverse effect on DD, I used to wash her hair out of the bath/ over it, then at the end of the bath use a very soft baby brush to gently loosen stuff and re-wash. She was slightly older because she was just sitting up in the baby bath.

I just used it twice a week on ds. I genuinely can't remember if it disappeared or his hair grew and covered it. Grin

I certainly wouldn't bother bathing a baby that regularly if there's no need. They don't need it and mostly the cradle cap will disappear over time, helped by a bit of dentinox when you do bath.

Sounds like a plan - no extra baths but olive oil in between.

Thank you all muchly
