teeth grinding 13mo

ds 13mo has been grinding hos teeth for about 4 days and its awful, I've purposely ignored it but its going right through me
is this normal /will it pass, any suggestions as to how I could disuade him??

My DD did this when she was teething. Teething gel helped her to stop

Two of my dcs have done this for a spell. It passed, I just ignored it.

Yuck. My ds did this for a few days and it made me shudder every time. I found it horrendous. Grin Then he stopped just like that and hasn't done it again. Lovely little weirdos they are.

Mine have also done it exclusively when cutting new teeth. Horrible noise, ugh!

Yep, my DD did this around that age too, but it soon passed. The clicking noise was awful - made me cringe. Can't remember it lasting more than a couple of weeks though...
