DD is choked with a cold. Woke herself up every half hour last night & could only settle again when upright.

Just settling her down to bed now (not in UK obviously!). Am I missing anything from my arsenal:

  • cot is raised at one end
  • baby Vicks on her
  • karvol on sheet
  • have been using saline nose spray all say

Usually I'd use a humidifier, but the air here is anything but dry (we actually use a dehumidifier), so I'm confused as to whether I should try it anyway.

Am I missing any tricks here? Both DD & I could do with a good night's sleep.

Apparently vics on the feet with a pair of socks over can help (don't ask how!)

Sounds like you have pretty much everything covered though!

Ah yes, Vicks on the feet, I'd forgotten that. Will add it to the list of things to try.

Poor little thing, she's waking every half hour for a little cuddle. She must feel miserable.

Paracetamol? A cold often gives me a corking headache. Perhaps she has one?
