DD will be 2 in June. Has had a cough and cold for a few days. No fever. Since yesterday has been pointing at her mouth and I just assumed her throat and chest was painful. Eating ok. Today drooling and she has bumps on her tongue and clearly painful. Any ideas?

have you checked her hands and feet? - could be hand, foot and mouth

Thanks for replies No obvious rash anywhere but didn't check hands and feet in detail. Would the rash be obvious? Will check when she wakes (hopefully in the morning Smile ).

With my mindee it was more a reddening than a rash aside from around her mouth, as you get if you immerse your foot into a too hot bath, that kind of a thing. It might take a day or two to fully come out and it might not actually get as far as the hands or feet ( it didn't on this mindees brother, he just had the mouth ulcer stuff)
