Is she contagious?

Last Friday DD (12 months) was diagnosed with quite a bad chest infection, she was prescribed a 10 day course of anti biotics. From the start she has been OK in herself, eating OK and acting totally normal.

I am supposed to be taking her to see 2 friends on Friday and their babies (12 months and 8 months).

She has some coughing fits, and can be slightly wheezy before the coughing fit but otherwise fine.

Would she be contagious if we were still to go?

I would suspect not, but I'm not a doctor. You could ask the phamasist or get the doctor to ohone you and ask.I would speak to the other parents and ask if they're happy to meet up or not anyway.

Agree with DeWe, ask the other parents first.

they are contagious but no more than a cold but contagious non the less, i would agree with the above and check with the other parents first

Thanks v much, she is much better now I think, but I have emailed them both and explained and they are more than happy to meet up
