What can I put on them? DD is looking like an acned teenager! And when do they go? She's 6 weeks now, is that still ok for her to have them? Thanks...

My 18 week old still has them! I think they hit their worst about 5 weeks though and now are barely noticeable.

Should add, yes he had the skin of an acne ridden teenager, looking at photos it was awful! But that stage didn't last too long x

Don't put anything on them. No soap or anything, just water for now. DD had them till 11 weeks, ds had none. It looks worse than it is (esp. if they're hot or cross) but it'll pass.

Thanks ladies, good to know we might be hitting the peak of it now! I have been using water and cotton wool but wondered if Savlon or something might be useful. Also wondered if it were one of those occasions they say to rub breast milk on the skin - they seem to suggest that for all manner of ills! Will stick with the water though, thanks again...
