DS1 is 6. Every night when I check on him he is soaked in sweat. Hair wet, pjs damp. He's been the same since he was a toddler.

His room is probably the coldest in the house and he doesn't wear thick pyjamas, even in winter.

Is this quite normal?

DS was the same, but it has lessened somewhat recently (he is 10).

Night sweats can be a symptom of some illnesses but since it's been going on for years in yuor DS's case, I wouldn't worry.

No idea if normal or not but ds (7) is the same. I sometimes have to change his sheets they are so damp from his sweat. He sleeps in just pj bottoms, cool room, low tog duvet (which he is rarely actually under).

Ds1 was the same. Some mornings his sheets would have white patches on them where the sweat had dried. he grew out of it by the time he was about 10.

My son is the same he goes to bed in pyjamas under a duvet, by morning he is in underpants and vest and duvet is on the floor, he is soaking, his hair is all wet. Apparently my sister was the same. I think it is just a stage.
