Post viral rash - contagious?

Took dd2 (22 months) to GP today to assess rash, which had come on yesterday after a few days of being slightly under the weather. GP lovely, said it was a post viral rash, but she looked about 12 (you can tell I'm getting on a bit) and didn't know whether she should be kept away from other kids / pregnant people.

Meant to be seeing kids / pregnant people tomorrow. Has anyone been given guidance about this? She is perfectly well in herself, just covered in spots on trunk of body .

Thanks!

i would just treat it like any other virus tbh - probably contagious but no need for quarantine though give vulnerable people a heads up.
