Is there a headache bug going round?

My 4yo had a headache on Friday night which went on into Saturday with a fever. We took her to the doctor on Saturday who said 'virus'. She was okay but subdued on Sunday, went into school yesterday as she felt well enough but was up a lot in the night crying that her head hurt.

Is this was likely to be a bug which should be finished soon, or I should get her back to the doctor?

My son complained of headache yesterday evening after coming from school. He had runny nose over the weekend.I am not sure what it is.He has gone to school today.

We got a letter last friday from school informing us that "slapped cheek syndrome" was doing the rounds. Apparently symptoms being "headache, temp, bright red cheeks".

On Thursday DS came home from school with dreadful headache and temp and felt under the weather for a few days. It's now gone.

Yesterday DD came home from Nursery combining of a headache which lasted all day regardless of Calpol and Calprufen.
She is tired and not quite herself today.

So.. could be that??

Thanks. She was complaining a lot this morning but seems to have perked up now after having a sleep. It does seem to be a bug. I just hope it ism't the start of chicken pox as the school thought!

Mine ds is off today with it, he's been complaining of headaches and temp for a few days now but seemed ok after calpol and off to school he went. This morning though he didn't get up at usual time and was rather hot. Tbh I felt like crap too banging headache and feeling lousy. So it was a good day for him to stay off school. There is also slapped cheek doing the rounds here, not sure what area you are in but we are in Cheshire. Hope she's feeling better soon!
