infected chicken pox

my ds2 (1 tommorrow) is on antibiotics as his face is so red and swollen from the infected chicken pox. took him earlier today to walk in centre but was so worried forgot to ask if i can still use the aqueous calamine cream? any advice? i havent yet .

The best thing to do would be to give the pharmacy a call and ask them. Personally I don't see why it would be a problem but I am no expert.
