Lump on DD2.s forehead

Freaking out a little, mostly through sleep deprivation. Noticed a little bump on DD2's forehead, right between her brows, yesterday, assumed (as you would with a recently mobile 8 month old) that she'd bumped her head. It's still there today but has grown and is rock solid and immoveable under the skin. For various reasons my brain has decided this is something HORRENDOUS and I need someone who's slept to tell me what it might be.
I have already rung OOH but the nurse hasn't rung me back yet. Ready to cry now :( (like I said, sleep deprived)

it's fine, honest, see doctor on Monday if it hasn't gone down.
wait until she gets a proper egg. AFter they thunk head just so. Half the head seems to swell up in a lovely half-egg shape. Gone a few hours later. Looks awful but is good because it means the swelling is on the outside.

Update: saw the doctor this morning, he says he thinks it's a dermoid cyst, but he's going to refer her to radiology (either ultrasound or x-ray, he's going to get their advice on which would be best) to be sure. Feeling less than reassured now especially as I googled it and I really really shouldn't have done that :(

Anyone else with experience of dermoid cysts? How much do they grow? What did they feel like?

My sister had one cut off at about age 10, I think, at least it was some kind of benign cyst. From what I just read sounds like it's been present since birth, only you can thank the bump for making you notice now.
Don't worry, the doctors are just being extra careful.
