constant coughing

dd has been coughing at night for about 6 mnths, dr gave me an inhaler which has made any difference, she is sleeping through the coughing but is there anything i can do to relieve her

go back to gp or asthma nurse, try to get referred for allergy testing.
in the meantime wash the bedding and teddies, check the room for mold, open the windows for a few mins before bedtime.

Are you using the inhaler properly? I only ask because from many threads on here it is apparent that a lot of gps give little or no guidance on how to use them well.

I guess you have a spacer. Imo constant cough is usually asthma related. I find with my 19mo if I prop him up a little (head up on very flat pillow with a C-shaped breastfeeding pillow on top) he stops coughing and sleeps yes.

Regular reliever and follow ups with hospital (if GP not satisfying you).
