wheezy cough

My 9 week old has had a cough and cold for about 5 days, she's been fine in herself but snuffly and coughing intermittently. I'm a little concerned because today her breathing has started to sound wheezy, she still seems fine in herself and isn't struggling for breath or anything but I'm wondering if this means a chest infection? Anyone had a similar experience?

It is probably just a cold, but because of her age I would get her checked over just for peace of mind x

If she is wheezy do get her checked. It could be the onset of bronchiolitis which can suddenly become quite scary in a lo (sickness , malaise, refusing to feed, sucking in around ribs), so worth ruling this out.

I am super laid back but would get her checked too, just because she's so little.

Any news?

Thanks everyone, I took her to the gp today and he said her chest sounds clear so just to keep a close eye on her in case things deteriorate, am relieved!
